The people who accomplish the intentional efforts of STEP include the co-directors, coaches, staff developers, and staff at the Pima County Regional Support Center.

Differentiated Instruction: Developing Engaging Lessons
Understanding the Differentiated Instruction philosophy and applying the strategies insures an increase in student learning and helps to move ALL students forward on the learning continuum. Workshops are based on the works of Gayle Gregory and Carolyn King, Differentiated Instructional Strategies: One Size Doesn’t Fit All.
Teaching to the Core – Mathematics (12 hours)
Audience: Teachers of Mathematics (Grades K-5)
This session will provide an overview of Arizona’s 2010 Common Core mathematical standards for content and practice, including background information and design components. A grade level analysis of the Common Core standards will be complemented by engaging instructional practices.
