C-3 Counselors Impacting Charter Communities
The three year C:3 Counselors Impacting Charter Communities Federal Grant is providing full-time counselors in four Tucson charter schools:. The Counseling Team is directed by Dr. Judy Bowers, and led by Project Leader, Angela Robinson. The counselors at each school include: Lisa Russell at La Paloma- Central, Kathleen Phillips at LaPaloma –Lakeside, Jill Morgan at The Griffin Foundation and Candice Alvarez at Southgate Academy. The counselors create systemic change by implementing the ASCA (American School Counseling Association) National Model, PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Support), and NNPS (School, Family, Community Project, by Joyce Epstein) in each charter school.
